As a kid...

Growing up, I was the question kid you know the one that ask why? how does that work? etc. My parents often found me organizing the pantry, letting myself out of the house and exploring. I always loved a challenge. I loved puzzles and anything that challenged my mind. My mother would sit me at the table with a pencil and paper and I would methodically draw perfect little circles until I filled the page up. My childhood was filled with dreams of being a football coach yes tomboy all the way.

But I also dreamed of making a difference in the world.

My Dad was a mechanic and I loved to ask questions what is that? what does that do? I learned the in’s and out of a car. My Dad said to me at a young age don’t tell me you can’t you can do anything you set your mind to. There was nothing I couldn’t do once I applied my mind to it. I loved to create with my hands and also take things apart to see how they worked just to put them back together like a puzzle. This insatiable curiosity laid the foundation for my future entrepreneurial spirit.

Then the entrepreneurship bug bit me...

In high school, my interest was working with my hands and challenging my mind. I did woodwork and loved building furniture. I started doing DIY for people I loved with cooking, art’s and crafts anything new I would pick up and do just to show it could be done. I was very driven and loved to be challenged.

It was then that I knew entrepreneurship was my calling. I joined the school’s business club and participated in competitions, pitching ideas and developing business plans. The more I learned about entrepreneurship, the more I realized it was a way to combine my creativity with a purpose. I began reading biographies of successful entrepreneurs, absorbing their stories and strategies. This passion for entrepreneurship continued to grow as I entered college, where I majored in business administration however I got married and went to work for my Mother in Law at her jewelry business.

Then I tried all the things that, well, didn't work...

Like many aspiring entrepreneurs, I faced my fair share of failures. Me and my husband launched our first side hustle business that was playing music aka DJing at colleges, schools etc. but it was time consuming and ate up our weekends we still had day jobs we were working. I tried many things it was when the internet and computers had just launched yes telling my age. I went into banking and was a Real Estate and Business lender always helping others with their dream homes and dream businesses. Failures and setbacks were disheartening, but they taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and adaptability. Failure is one of the best teachers it just saying there's another way.

I also tried many NWM adventures, in the health and wellness, fitness, oils & clean living. I realized the importance of understanding my audience and the value of effective marketing. I even tried my hand at a freelance graphic design business, but found myself competing in a saturated market with little success. Each failure, though painful, was a stepping stone that provided me with critical insights and skills.

Finally, I cracked the code!

My turning point came when I stumbled upon digital marketing, It started with a free webinar on social media marketing that piqued my interest. I decided to dive deeper and invested in comprehensive courses covering SEO, social media marketing, email campaigns, and pay-per-click advertising. I immersed myself in learning everything I could about these strategies. I applied these newfound skills to my Life Coaching business. I used social media to create engaging content, optimized my website for search engines, and built an email list to nurture leads. I realized the power of digital marketing to reach a vast audience. Strategic planning, consistent effort, and leveraging the right tools. It was a journey of immersion, of dedication, where every lesson was a stepping stone towards a new beginning.

Today, my business is thriving and I help others just like you!
